This lazy susan was made as a wedding gift for a couple who first met while playing a popular MMORPG. It’s built mostly from oak, with a wenge inlay and a little heart cut from purpleheart wood. The artwork started as a DALL·E image, then I reworked it by hand to look like their in-game characters and simplified it so it could be carved as an inlay. The bearing is totally hidden in the base, thanks to two custom 3D-printed rings. There is only one screw hole which is later covered by the rubber feet.
